Books and Audio-Visual Materials
As a teacher you may check out those materials that you need for 30 days. You may recheck if you need the materials longer. The Media Center has a special section of Professional Books for teachers. They have wonderful ideas and suggestions for teaching. Reference books and periodicals are primarily to be used in the media center. However, teachers may check out these materials for a short time period for classroom use.
Equipment
Every classroom will have AV equipment. This may include: an AV cart, document camera, and CD/cassette player with headphones. This equipment is checked out to you for the school year. All classrooms are equipped with Smart boards. Equipment needing repair should be brought to the Media Center. It will be sent to the Maintenance department for repair. Computer repair problems can be submitted on a work order document and emailed to our Technology Support Department.
