Campus Kids

The Mission of the Campus Kids after school program is to enrich children’s lives educationally, socially, culturally, emotionally, and physically in a safe and familiar setting.
The program is designed to strengthen, support, and supplement the child at home, at school, and in the community.
The current Site Coordinator is Sandra Strauss and the Co-Coordinator is Cedric Jones.  Both are certified teachers and are trained in CPR and must be re-certified every two years.  In
addition to the site coordinators there are seven certified staff members that work with the students.  There are currently 56 students enrolled with a daily average attendance of 42
students. The teacher/student ratio is 1 teacher to 20 students.
Campus Kids provides an afternoon snack and assistance with homework.  All students are exposed to different activities.  The students participate in arts and crafts projects, painting and
coloring, academic games such as Scrabble, color, shape, and number bingo, movie days and
indoor/outdoor creative play.
